About Us

The Princess Pocotopaug Association (also known as the Princess Pocotopaug Corporation) is a non-stock corporation and a special tax district in East Hampton, Connecticut, that serves approximately 140 homeowners on the east side of Lake Pocotopaug. Founded in 1953, it was established to manage and maintain shared amenities, funded by annual fees and dues from property owners. The organization is governed by a board of directors and officers elected at annual meetings.  

Princess Pocotopaug Corporation, offers a community lakefront living experience. The community features two beaches, a clubhouse, and various amenities like boat slips and canoe/kayak racks. Association members participate in monthly meetings and receive tax bills annually. The company emphasizes community involvement, responsible beach usage, and a calendar of events for homeowners.
